QuiltCon 2025 Recap

Updated: Apr 19

What a whirlwind of excitement, emotions, inspiration, exceptional creativity, connections and realizations. I met so many amazing people. From my favorite Instagram "celebrities" to meeting my Instagram friend, Alicia in real life finally and everyone in between.

I traveled with my very good friend Sarah. We were so excited for this trip. She introduced me to all her wonderful friends and everyone I met was so incredibly nice. It was so inspiring to come together with all of these people who are making impacts in the quiltiverse by promoting creativity, inclusivity, making statements politically and just making everyone feel welcome and happy.

The most important thing I walked away from this trip with, was that I feel my biggest impact is right here in my own community and bringing people together with my studio.

Scroll through to the end to see all the amazing quilts, including best of show.

My Quilt was in the Show!!

I was super excited to have a quilt hanging in QuiltCon. It was a huge honor!

The Outfits

I had made myself an outfit for each day that I was there. I knew that "quilty" fashion is all the rage at QuiltCon and I was excited to be part of it.

The Instagram Celebrities

Here are all the amazing people I met during the 4 days. Listed from left to right.

  1. Shelley @matantequilting

  2. Rachel Clark @racheldclark

  3. Erin @seamrippersociety

  4. Dee @pixelquilt

  5. Dee showing off her Lady Gaga quilt!

  6. Jean (with her Goodness bowl)

The Quilts

The quilt show was absolutely huge! It took me 3 days to take it all in. Each day I picked 2-3 rows and took my time, studying, reading and taking them in. I only photographed my favorites.

This first set of photos is from the Ruby&Bee fabric challenge.

Some of my favorites.

Quilts with a message.

The BEST of the Best!

THE BEST OF SHOW

It was quite stunning especially since it was double sided!

I hope you enjoyed my quick recap of QuiltCon Phoenix 2025!
