Since opening the studio, one of the most common questions I’ve been asked is: “Do you offer kids classes?” I’m excited to finally say YES!

I’ve teamed up with the amazing instructor Kelly, a San Francisco-based home sewist who comes from generations of crafty women. Kelly has over 30 years of experience teaching kids of all ages, including a decade of homeschooling. She brings creativity, patience, and a sense of humor to every lesson, making sewing approachable and fun.
These classes are a fantastic option for home school groups or any child curious about how things are constructed and eager to explore their creativity through sewing.
Kids will begin with machine basics, then move into simple, confidence-building projects like pillowcases and lined drawstring bags. As their skills grow, they’ll advance to exciting projects such as zippered pouches, clutches, bags, and even beginner-friendly quilting. Whether your child thrives with one-on-one attention or loves learning with a small group of friends (up to 4 students), they’ll enjoy creating in the studio’s supportive environment.
