Class Description/Objectives:
Do you have a quilt top waiting to be finished up? This is the workshop for you! We'll focus on a number of skills for the final phases of making your quilt - from quilt sandwich tips and tricks to choosing and marking your quilting motif, and attaching binding. Any level of quilter is welcome to join and use this time as an incentive to finish up that last project!
Students should bring a completed quilt top as well as any materials needed for your quilt sandwich (batting and backing) as well as your binding fabric. You can also bring a quilt sandwich if you've already done that step. Students in this class may be at different phases and we'll work together to learn from each other as we make progress through those final steps. This workshop will be tailored to the areas students want to focus on, but could include the following:
- Squaring up your quilt top
- Making your quilt sandwich
- Deciding on your quilting motif
- Marking quilting lines
- Tips and tricks for hand or machine quilting
- Binding tips and tricks

Fabric Scissors
Cutting Mats

Ironing Boards

What you’ll need to bring:
A finished quilt top (or quilt sandwich)
Materials for finishing your quilt (batting, backing, binding)
Sewing Machine
Machine needles and thread
Tools for your sewing machine in case you need to change a needle, foot, etc.
Lunch/snacks so we can make the most of our time

Classes cancelled 7 days in advance will receive a full refund. Classes cancelled the week of class will receive 1/2 of the amount back. No refunds will be given for cancellations with 24 hours of the class start time. You may gift your spot to a friend, in which case no refund will be given.
