Libra Skies Quilt Workshop
In this two day course we will workshop the Libra Skies quilt pattern over 8 hours. You’ll learn a number of skills including making templates, strip piecing, sewing curves, stay-stitching, and we’ll go over basic quilt construction. While you don’t need to be an expert quilter to join, you should have some basic sewing knowledge and know how to use your sewing machine.
*Please note: a quilt top is the top-most layer of the quilt and does not include batting & backing. There's no need to bring batting and backing materials to class. We will cover basic quilt construction verbally at the end of the course.
Required Supplies:
- Sewing Machine
- Thread and needles for your machine
- Standard foot for your machine
- 1/4" foot for your machine (helpful, but not required)
- Marking Tools (chalk pen/pencil or disappearing ink pen)
- Fabric per pattern instructions (see image 4)
- Optional: if you prefer your own scissors, rotary cutter, rulers, iron, etc., please feel free to bring them.

- Libra Skies throw size quilt pattern. If students would like to purchase the full pattern with additional sizes, a 50% discount code will be provided.

Owner, designer, and maker of EmeryCo Quilts. Alison grew up in Georgia and lives in Pacifica, California. Many of her quilt designs are inspired by views along the coast. She loves the process of quilting because it forces us to slow down and make something meaningful.
