Long Arm Certification
The Long Arm Certification Class will teach you essential skills, including proper loading, basting, stitch length and troubleshooting tension. Completion of this class is a prerequisite to renting the long arm machine. Students learn on a HandiQuilter Amara hand guided machine. Basic free motion techniques will be covered, however, this is not a full free motion quilting class.
This is a private class with one on one instruction.
You will have use of the machine for the remainder of the day to practice on one of your own quilts at a discounted rate of $15.00/hour. (regularly $25.00). Discounted rate only applies to day of the class.
Class is offered on Fridays from 9am to 12pm.
